Publication Year: 2020
My Review and Thoughts:
When it comes to complete writing Genius then you need to look no further that Neal Gaiman. This is a magical book. A wonderment of written word. A complete collection of imagination and wonder. From comical to serious. This span of stories in Gaiman’s long career is collected for the amazement of readers of all ages.
If you’re a fan of storytelling, then you need this book and experience all these stories in one setting. Yes, many of these stories you might have read over the years but what makes this perfection is all these are gathered in one imagined glory. From first page to last page you are controlled and sent into a realm of worlds, ideas and imaginative means.
I became young again, reading again for the first time these magical tales. It felt that wonderful. It made you become a part of the writing genius of Gaiman again. He gives you the exploration and the glory of written word.
52 separate stories. Some small snips, others long in tone. But each one important to that career of this man. A man who knows and understands the reader. He knows how to explore the emotions and minds of his readers. He gives through these pieces what great writing is all about.
Experience wonder.
Experience imagination.
Experience the reality of reading imagination.
This book is highly praised by me. I laughed at times, smiled often and was totally intrigued and glued to each story as if it was my first time reading it all over again. I loved all the choices chosen for this book.
There aren’t enough words to express the amazing reality of Gaiman’s writing. His mind becomes a whirlwind of exploration. He allows you the reader to experience the many realms of unexplored tunnels of imaginative glories. Gaiman knows the reader at hand, He captures the reader and gives them a trip like no other. This is a book to be held, explored and loved.
Would I Recommend: Absolutely in a heartbeat, without a doubt in the world. If you want what great writing and imagination is all about then look no further than this book.
Would I Return to it Again? Another stupid question. Without a doubt. His works always shine and they demand to be read over and over.
