Book Blog: Entry 1

Last night I started reading The Patient's Secret by Loreth Anne White. If you have not read any of her books, stop what your doing and correct that. She is an amazing storyteller. She wrote one of my favorite books Beneath Devil's Bridge. She writes in many styles but I love her mystery suspense novels. So far The Patients Secret is very good and mysterious, can't wait to see where it goes.

I just finished reading and reviewing The Secret of Crying Minds by A.L. Berggren you can check out my book review for it

I also pre-ordered a lot of books for my kindle:

Super excited for The Angel Maker by Alex North. I am a huge fan of Alex North his first 2 books where spot on perfect, spooky and very intense. I absolutely loved The Shadows, and The Whisper Man was deep and twisted and perfect. So that is one of my highlights of the year is his third book The Angel Maker coming out on Feb. 28th. Super, super giddy about this one.

Also if your an author and have a book coming out this year, and there is a preorder link on Amazon then let me know because I love to pre-order books for my kindle.

Something I was super excited in doing was buying all of Jonathan Tripp's books on Kindle: I am a huge fan of his style and imagination. He is a wonderful Social Media persona. I love following him and experiencing his daily post. A beautiful and sexy soul and a down right perfect imaginative story teller. I was happy to purchase his books to load on my kindle, now I can take them with me everywhere I go and spread the love for this indie author for he is a true writer that explores the haunts that he wishes to. I always look forward to another book by Tripp and you should to. If you can, buy his whole collection. I hope to one day own them all in print form.

I visited a book store yesterday and was absolutely shocked at how rude so many people were. I  mean booklovers are supposed to enjoy looking at books and sharing books with others, but every single person I was next to was so high strung or just plain rotten. I don't know if it was the book store or people have just gotten so bad in public. Anyways my point to this little spill is I purchased 3 books. Was super happy to find them in Hardcover and I will say I highly recommend them. If you have not read any of Thomas Tryon's books then you really need to. My 3 favorites, in order Number 1 will always be Lady. Number 2 The Other and Number 3 Harvest Home.

Well I am going to sign off on this first writing blog entry. I have a book waiting me and a hot cup of tea and a blanket to snuggle. So may your nights and days be filled with wonderful page turning beauty. May your mind be filled to the brim with imagination and my all your journeys be book reading worthy.
